Pursuant to a notice posted on June 6, 2011, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 12:24 p.m.

Representative Hunter moved to place the following measures:

on the General State Calendar for Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10:00am:  HB 13, HB 18, HB 19, HB 20, HB 21.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           Representatives Coleman; King, Tracy O.; Rodriguez, Eddie (3).

Pursuant to House Rule 3, Section 5(2), and House Rule 6, Section 16(f), The House Committee on Calendars proposes the following rule governing floor consideration of SB 1:

All original amendments to CSSB 1 that will be offered during second reading consideration must be filed with the chief clerk not later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2011.

Representative Hunter moved to adopt the proposed rule for floor consideration on SB 1. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Hunter; Branch; Coleman; Cook; Geren; King, Tracy O.; Kolkhorst; Ritter; Rodriguez, Eddie; Solomons; Zerwas (11).
