Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 2011, and permission granted to meet while the House is in session on March 14, 2011, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 9:05 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Solomons; Villarreal; Alvarado; Aycock; Eissler; Geren; Hunter; Keffer; Madden; Phillips; and Pickett.

A quorum was present.
