Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 2011, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 9:10 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Solomons; Alonzo; Alvarado; Aycock; Eissler; Geren; Hilderbran; Hunter; Keffer; Pena; and Pickett.

A quorum was present.
