Pursuant to a notice posted on January 11, 2012,  revised on April 12, 2012, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 9:14 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Solomons, Alvarado, Branch, Eissler, Harless, Hilderbran, Hunter, Madden, Pena, and Pickett.

A quorum was present.

The Chair recognized Representative Diane Patrick present as a guest of the Committee.

At 11:00 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 2:00 p.m., April 17, 2012.

The committee reconvened at 2:12 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons.

The quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Solomons; Alonzo; Alvarado; Aycock; Branch; Eissler; Harless; Hunter; Madden; Pena; and Pickett.
