Pursuant to a notice posted on April 15, 2011 and a suspension of the 5-day  posting rule on April 19, 2011 to consider HCR 42,  the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Madden, at 7:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Madden; Allen; Marquez; Perry; and Workman.

 

A quorum was present.


 

 

SB 166

 

The chair laid out SB 166 as pending business.

 

 

Representative Perry moved that SB 166, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
