Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on
April 26, 2011, and permission granted to meet while the House is in session on
April 26, 2011, the House Committee on Corrections met in a formal meeting and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Madden, at 2:09 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representative Madden; Cain; Perry; White; and Workman.
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 653.
The chair offered and explained a complete committee
substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without
objection.
Representative White moved that SB 653, as
substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The
motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed
