Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule to allow the committee of County Affairs to consider  SB 917, SB 373, SB 1692, SB 1014, SB 1687 and pending items on May 4, 2011, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 8:50 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Marquez; Gonzales, Larry; Gooden; and White.

 

A quorum was present.


 

HB 1878

 

Representative Gooden moved to reconsider all votes by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Gooden offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
