Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on
May 19, 2011, the House Committee on Technology met in a formal meeting and was
called to order by the chair, Representative Pena, at 12:22 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 701.
Representative Button offered a complete committee
substitute.
The chair recognized Representative Strama to
explain SB 701.
(Representative Eissler now present.)
The committee substitute was adopted without
objection.
Representative Button moved that SB 701, as
substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and
Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed
by the following record vote:

Button; Eissler; Howard, Donna; Munoz, Jr. (5).

The chair laid out SB 631 as pending business.
The chair recognized Representative Munoz, Jr. to
explain SB 631.
Representative Eissler moved that SB 631,
without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the
recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion
prevailed by the following record vote:
