Pursuant to a suspension of the 24 hour posting rule on June 15, 2011 and a suspension of all necessary rules on June 15, 2011, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Taylor, Larry, at 9:05 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Taylor, Larry; Berman; Branch; Burkett; Farias; and Isaac.

 

A quorum was present.

 

HJR 13

 

The chair laid out HJR 13.

 

The chair recognized Representative Branch to explain HJR 13.

 

(Representative Veasey now present.)

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

The chair recognized Representative Branch to close on HJR 13.

 

HJR 13 was left pending without objection.

 

At 9:59 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
