Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 27, 2011 and permission granted on April 27, 2011 to meet while the house is in session, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Keffer, at 5:16 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Keffer; Crownover; Carter; Craddick; Davis, John; and Sheffield.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 2435 as pending business.

 

Representative Sheffield offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Davis, John moved that HB 2435, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion failed by the following record vote:
