CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On May 5, 2011, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Environmental Regulation held on April 29, 2011. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 29, 2011, and permission to meet while the house was in session on April 29, 2011, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Wayne, at 3:45 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Smith, Wayne; Burnam; Chisum; Hancock; Legler; and Lyne.

 

A quorum was present.


 

 

The chair directed that the April 18, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on Environmental Regulation be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

SB 1258

 

The chair laid out SB 1258, the companion to HB 2013.

 

The chair explained SB 1258.

 

Representative Legler moved that SB 1258, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Smith, Wayne; Burnam; Chisum; Hancock; Legler; Lyne (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Farrar; Aliseda; Reynolds (3).

 

SB 1250

 

The chair laid out SB 1250, the companion to HB 1572.

 

Representative Burnam offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair explained SB 1250.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Hancock moved that SB 1250, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
