Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 5, 2011, and being granted permission on May 5, 2011 to meet while the house was in session, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Wayne, at 2:47 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Smith, Wayne; Farrar; Aliseda; Burnam; Chisum; Hancock; Legler; and Lyne.

 

A quorum was present.


 

The chair directed that the April 29, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on Environmental Regulation be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

HB 3399

 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Smith, Wayne moved that HB 3399, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
