Pursuant to a notice posted on April 28, 2011, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Callegari, at 8:18 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Callegari; Lucio III; Cain; Frullo; Harper-Brown; Munoz, Jr.; and Zedler.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 1875.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Callegari moved that HB 1875, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
