CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On June 9, 2011, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform held on June 6, 2011. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on June 3, 2011 and being granted permission to meet while the House was in session on June 6, 2011, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Callegari, at 3:09 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Callegari; Cain; Harper-Brown; Munoz, Jr.; and Zedler.

 

A quorum was present.


 

HB 17

 

The chair laid out and explained HB 17.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

(Representative Lucio III now present.)

The chair closed on HB 17.

 

HB 17 was left pending without objection.

 

HB 30

 

The chair laid out and explained HB 30.

 

The chair offered an amendment to the measure.

The chair laid out HB 17 as pending business.

 

Representative Callegari moved that HB 17, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Callegari; Cain; Harper-Brown; Zedler (4).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Lucio III; Munoz, Jr. (2).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Frullo (1).

 

HB 30

 

The chair laid out HB 30 as pending business.

 

The chair offered an amendment to the measure.

 

The amendment was adopted without objection.

 

The chair directed the staff to incorporate the amendments into a committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Callegari moved that HB 30, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Callegari; Cain; Harper-Brown; Zedler (4).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Lucio III; Munoz, Jr. (2).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Frullo (1).
