Pursuant to a notice posted on April 3, 2012, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Callegari, at 10:11 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Callegari; Frullo; Harper-Brown; and Munoz, Jr..

 

A quorum was present.


 

The Chair made opening comments.

 

(Representative Zedler now present.)

 

The chair laid out Interim Charge Two to discuss and examine interagency agreements and charges for providing information or personal identification documents at the request of a state agency to fulfill day-to-day operations at the expense of the requesting state agency.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

The chair laid out Interim Charge Three to discuss and examine the utilization of alternative project delivery methods, such as design-build and construction-manager-at-risk, by municipalities, water districts, and authorities, and other local governmental entities since the passage of HB 1886, 80th Legislature.

The chair withdraws Interim Charges Two and Three.

 

At 2:17 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
