Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 2011, the House Committee on House Administration met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Geren, at 8:32 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Geren; Howard, Donna; Eissler; Gooden; Munoz, Jr.; and Vo.

 

A quorum was present.

 

Vice Chair Howard moved to adopt the subcommittee’s recommendations and the Personnel Manual Policy and Procedures 2011. 

 

The motion prevailed without objection.

 

The Chair moved to remove the section from the Personnel Manual Policy and Procedures 2011 regarding the drug and alcohol policy and directed staff to review and draft a new policy that is consistent with other State agencies and the Office of Risk Management.

 

The motion prevailed without objection.

 

At 8:37 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
