On April 14, 2011, the House Committee on Defense
& Veterans' Affairs authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House
Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs held on March 17, 2011. The
following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on March 11, 2011, revised 3 times on March 11, 2011, the House
Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at 8:07 a.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Pickett; Sheffield; Berman; Farias; Flynn; Landtroop; Perry;
Scott; and Taylor, Van.
A quorum was present.
HB 973
The chair laid out HB 973.
The chair recognized Representative Kleinschmidt to
explain HB 973.
