MINUTES
On May 17, 2011, the House Committee on Defense
& Veterans' Affairs authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House
Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs held on May 5, 2011. The following
are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on April 29, 2011, and a suspension of the 5 day posting rule and all necessary rules on May 3, 2011 to take up and consider: SB 356, SB 431, SB 461, SB 966, SB 1477, SB 1660, SB 1739, SB 1755, SB 1766 and SB 1796, the House Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at 8:01 a.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Pickett; Berman; Farias; Flynn; Landtroop; Perry; Scott; and
Taylor, Van.
A quorum was present.
