Pursuant to a notice posted on November 16, 2011, the House Committee on Human Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Raymond, at 9:25 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Raymond; Gonzalez, Naomi; Hopson; Hughes; and Hunter.

A quorum was present.

(Representative Taylor, Van now present.)

Representative Miller, Sid attended the meeting.

The committee met to hear invited and public testimony on interim charge four: “Monitor the agencies and programs under the committee’s jurisdiction and the implementation of relevant legislation passed by the 82^nd Legislature, including the implementation of managed care in South Texas.”
