Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 5, 2011, and with permission to meet while the House is in Session granted on May 5, 2011, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Oliveira, at 5:41 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Oliveira; Kleinschmidt; Anchia; Anderson, Rodney; Brown; Garza; Lavender; and Margo.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 402 as pending business.

The chair explained SB 402.

Representative Kleinschmidt moved that SB 402, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes: Representatives Oliveira; Kleinschmidt; Anchia; Brown; Garza; Lavender; Margo (7).

Nays: None (0).

Present, Not Voting: Representative Anderson, Rodney (1).

Absent: Representative Kolkhorst (1).

At 5:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
