Pursuant to permission granted to meet while the house is in session and an announcement from the house floor on April 20, 2011, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, at 11:06 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson; Hancock; Farias; Harper-Brown; Orr; and Scott.

A quorum was present.

Pursuant to the suspension of all necessary rules and to unanimous consent granted on April 20, 2011, Representative Orr moved to add the following measures on the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Thursday, April 21, 2011: HB 91, HB 398, HB 602, HB 692, HB 1145, HB 1162, HB 1179, HB 1795, HB 1887, HB 2040, HB 2337, HB 3314, HB 3726.

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes: Representatives Thompson; Hancock; Farias; Harper-Brown; Orr; Scott (6).

Nays: None (0).

Present, Not Voting: None (0).

Absent: Representatives Bohac; Darby; Elkins; Larson; Marquez (5).

At 11:08 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
