Pursuant to permission granted to meet while the
house is in session and an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2011,
the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting
and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, at 5:38 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Thompson; Hancock; Bohac; Darby; Elkins; Farias; Larson; Orr;
and Scott.
A quorum was present.
Representative Elkins moved that the floor
amendments to HB 1315, HB 2699 and HB 2899 be approved to be offered during
consideration of the Addendum--Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for
Thursday, May 5, 2011. The motion
prevailed without objection.
Representative Hancock moved that the following
measures be transferred over to the House
Calendars Committee: HB 3011, HB 3753. The motion prevailed without objection.
Pursuant to the suspension of all necessary rules
and to unanimous consent granted on May 4, 2011, Representative Hancock moved
