Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 29, 2011, and granted permission to meet with the House was in session, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 2:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Truitt; Anchia; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Hernandez Luna; Nash; and Veasey.

 

A quorum was present.

Representative Nash moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Nash moved that HB 1677, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           Representative Orr (1).

The chair laid out HB 2120 as pending business.

 

Representative Veasey offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
