Pursuant to a notice posted on February 17, 2011, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Eissler, at 2:01 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Eissler; Hochberg; Allen; Aycock; Guillen; Huberty; Shelton; Strama; and Weber.

 

A quorum was present.

(Representative Smith, Todd now present.)

 

 

The House Committee on Public Education heard testimony from TEA on School Finance and Virtual Schools.
