Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule
on April 7, 2011, the House Committee on Public Education met in a formal
meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Eissler, at 1:58
p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Eissler; Hochberg; Aycock; Dutton; Huberty; Shelton; Strama;
and Weber.
A quorum was present.
HB 1610
The chair laid out HB 1610.
The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which
HB1610 was reported from the committee.
The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
The chair offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without
objection.
Representative Weber moved that HB 1610, as
substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The
motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays: Representative Dutton

The committee substitute was adopted without
objection.

substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The
motion prevailed by the following record vote:
