Pursuant to a notice posted on January 9, 2012, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the acting chair, Vice Chairman Scott Hochberg, at 1:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hochberg; Allen; Aycock; Dutton; Huberty; Shelton; and Strama.

 

A quorum was present.

 

Vice Chairman Scott Hochberg welcomed everyone back. 

 

Vice Chairman Hochberg recognized Representative Patrick, Diane.

The Public Education Committee considered an interim charge of Student Assessment.
