On May 9, 2011, the House Committee on Public Health
authorized the correction of the minutes
for the meeting of the House Committee on Public Health held on April 26, 2011.
The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 26, 2011 and pursuant to permission granted for the committee to meet while the house is in session during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Public Health met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst, at 7:14 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Kolkhorst; Naishtat; Alvarado; Gonzales, Veronica; King, Susan;
Schwertner; and Zerwas.
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 577 as pending business.
Representative Gonzales, Veronica offered a complete
committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without
objection.
