Pursuant to a notice posted on September 27, 2012, the House Committee on Public Health met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst, at 9:27 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Kolkhorst; Naishtat; Coleman; Guerra; King, Susan; Laubenberg; and Schwertner.

A quorum was present.

Interim Charge #5: Monitor the agencies and programs under the committee's jurisdiction:

· The Texas Health Care Transformation and Quality Improvement Program Medicaid 1115 Waiver
