Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on March 22, 2011 to allow the Committee on State Affairs to consider unfinished business, and a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on March 24, 2011 to allow the Committee on State Affairs to consider bills and resolutions previously scheduled for the March 23, 2011 public hearing, the Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 12:19 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cook; Menendez; Craddick; Gallego; Geren; Harless; Huberty; Smithee; and Solomons.
