CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On May 5, 2011, the House Committee on State Affairs authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on State Affairs held on April 19, 2011. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 19, 2011, and being granted permission on April 19, 2011, for the committee to meet while the House is in session during bill referral, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting to consider pending business and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 5:46 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cook; Menendez; Craddick; Frullo; Harless; Oliveira; and Turner.

 

A quorum was present.


 

The chair directed that the March 30, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on State Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

The chair directed that the April 13, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on State Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

HB 326

The chair laid out HB 326 as pending business.

 

(Representative Smithee now present.)

 

Representative Oliveira moved that HB 326, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
