MINUTES
On May 12, 2011, the House Committee on State
Affairs authorized the correction of the
minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on State Affairs held on
May 4, 2011. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on April 29, 2011, revised on May 3, 2011, and a suspension of
the 5-day posting rule on May 4, 2011, to allow the House Committee on State
Affairs to meet to consider SB 661, SB 1504 and SB 1613, the committee met in a
public hearing on May 4, 2011, and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Cook, at 10:10 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Cook; Menendez; Craddick; Frullo; Gallego; Geren; Harless;
Hilderbran; Huberty; and Solomons.
A quorum was present.
SB 375
The chair laid out SB 375.
The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

Representative Solomons offered an amendment to the
committee substitute.
The amendment was adopted by the following record
