Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2011 and permission granted to meet while the House is in session, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips, at 3:01 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phillips; Davis, Yvonne; Fletcher; Harper-Brown; Lavender; Martinez, "Mando"; and Pickett.

 

A quorum was present.


 

The chair directed that the March 16, 2011 and the April 13, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on Transportation be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

HB 2884

 

The chair laid out HB 2884 as pending business.

 

(Representative Rodriguez, Eddie now present.)

 

(Representative McClendon now present.)

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
