Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, March 21, 2011, in the E1.714.

The chair called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The chair laid out the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested calendar to be held on March 24, 2011 at 8:30 AM. Senator Eltife noted that SB 116, SB 304, SB 309, SB 647, SB 809, and SB 822 should be removed from the eligible list because those bills had already passed on the Intent Calendar.

Senator Uresti moved that, with the exception of SB 116, SB 304, SB 309, SB 647, SB 809, and SB 822 passed on the Intent Calendar, and SB 690, SB 762, SB 798, and SB 889 removed by the Committee, the bills on the recommended list be certified for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar. The motion carried with a record vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 2 absent.

There being no further business, at 3:19 PM Senator Eltife moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
