Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, April 11, 2011, in the E1.714.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:32 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The chair laid out the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held April 14, 2011, at 8:00 AM. The committee recommended the removal of SB 897 and SB 1607.

Senator Uresti moved that the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held April 14, 2011, at 8:00 AM be certified. The motion carried with a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.

There being no further business, at 9:48 AM Senator Eltife moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
