Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with
Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on
Administration was held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, in the E1.004 (Auditorium).

Senator Jeff Wentworth, the acting chair, called the
meeting to order at 2:58 PM. Due to
scheduling conflicts, Senator Wentworth announced that the committee would
stand in recess until 4:00 PM.
At 4:04 PM Senator Uresti reconvened the meeting and
assumed the chair.
The following members arrived after the roll was
called:

The following business was transacted:
The chair laid out SCR 25 and recognized Senator Van
de Putte, in the absence of the author, to explain the bill.
Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are
shown on the attached list.
The chair moved that the public testimony be closed;
without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Wentworth moved that SCR 25 be left pending;
without objection, it was so ordered.
The chair laid out SCR 35 and recognized the author,
Senator Wentworth, to explain the bill.
Witnesses registering but not testifying on the bill
are shown on the attached list.
The chair moved that public testimony be closed;
without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Wentworth moved that SCR 35 be left pending;
without objection, it was so ordered.
The chair laid out SCR 39 and recognized Senator
Wentworth, in the absence of the author, to explain the bill.

There being no further business, at 7:43 PM Senator
Eltife moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the
chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
