Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, April 18, 2011, in the E1.714.

The following members arrived after the roll was called:

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:31 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 8:00 AM.  The committee recommended the removal of SB 5, SB 7, SB 8, SB 47, SB 208, SB 434, SB 601, SB 681, SB 718, SB 825, SB 1000, SB 1177, SB 1296, SB 1618, SB 1662, SB 1741, and SB 1766.  The committee also recommended that SB 824 be left pending for further review.

 

Senator Uresti moved that the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 8:00 AM be certified.  The motion carried with a vote of 6 Ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 1 absent.

 

 

 

There being no further business, at 10:01 AM Senator Eltife moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
