The chair called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM.
There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
Senator Carona moved the committee operate during
the interim under the same rules as those used in the 82nd Regular
Session. There being no objection, it was so ordered.
At 10:10 AM Senator Watson assumed the chair.
The chair laid out SB 3 and recognized the author,
Senator Carona, to explain the bill.
Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are
shown on the attached list.
Senator Carona moved that SB 3 be left pending;
without objection, it was so ordered.
There being no further business, at 1:40 PM Senator
Carona moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the
chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
