The chair called the meeting to order at 8:46 AM.
The clerk called roll.
The following members arrived after roll call:

There being a quorum present, the following business
was transacted:
Senator Ogden laid out Senate Bill 1 as pending
business.
Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.
Public testimony was heard on SB 1 - Article
II. Witnesses testifying and registering
on the bill are shown on the attached list.
There being no further business, at 10:45 AM Senator
Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed until 1:30 PM. Without objection, it was so ordered.
At 1:34 PM Senator Hinojosa reconvened the hearing.
