Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Subcommittee on Medicaid was held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, in the Senate Chamber.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:05 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The chair called the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

The chair called invited witnesses testifying and registering on the bill (see attached witness list).

At 10:25 AM Senator Zaffirini assumed the chair.

At 10:34 AM Senator Nelson resumed the chair.

At 10:50 AM Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed until after adjournment of the Senate. Without objection, it was so ordered.

At 1:10 PM Senator Nelson reconvened the meeting.

The chair called the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

There being no further business, at 1:38 PM Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
