Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Subcommittee on Public Education Funding was held on Monday, February 14, 2011, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:10 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Senator Shapiro made opening remarks to the committee and then recognized other members to make opening remarks.

Senator Shapiro called the following invited witnesses to provide testimony.  See attached list.

There being no further business, at 12:09 PM Senator Shapiro moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
