Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on International Relations & Trade was held on Monday, April 4, 2011, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:10 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

At 10:11 AM Senator Rodriguez assumed the chair.

 

The chair laid out SB 1363 and recognized the author, Senator Lucio, to explain the bill.

 

Senator Lucio sent up the committee substitute for SB 1363 and was recognized to explain the differences between the substitute and the bill as filed.

 

Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.
