Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources was held on Monday, April 30, 2012, in the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

The chair called the meeting to order at 1:05 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
Chairman Seliger made opening remarks regarding Interim Charge #6 regarding monitoring the inclusion of dunes sagebrush lizard on the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service endangered species list and the negative implications such action would have on the oil and gas industry.
The Chair opened testimony. Witnesses are shown on the attached list.
There being no further business, at 5:15 PM Senator Seliger moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
