Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services was held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in the Senate Chamber.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Senator Nelson made opening remarks regarding committee charge #4.

Senator Nelson called panel one to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

Senator Nelson called panel two to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

At 12:00 PM Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed until 12:45 PM. Without objection, it was so ordered.

At 12:51 PM Senator Nelson reconvened the meeting.

Senator Nelson called panel three to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

There being no further business, at 4:15 PM Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
