Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Alzheimer's Disease was held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, in the Senate Chamber.

Senator Nelson, the acting chair, called the meeting to order at 2:00 PM. The following business was transacted:

Senator Nelson made opening remarks regarding the Committee’s charge.

Senator Nelson called panel one to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

Senator Nelson called panel two to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

Senator Nelson called panel three to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

There being no further business, at 5:12 PM Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
