NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Senate Committee on Business & Commerce will meet at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Room E1.016 of the Texas Capitol Extension. The Committee will:

- adopt rules and discuss its work plan for the 82nd Legislative Interim;

- receive updates from the Public Utility Commission, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Texas Real Estate Commission, Texas Department of Insurance, and Texas Windstorm Insurance Association; and

- take public testimony.

Invited witnesses are asked to provide testimony and exhibits in electronic format the Friday before the hearing. Public witnesses are requested to limit oral remarks to three minutes and are welcome to submit written testimony of any length and content.
