Amend Floor Amendment No. 1 by Hegar that amends CSSB 5 (Senate committee printing) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION and renumbering the existing SECTIONs accordingly:

SECTION ____.  The provisions of this Act do not take effect unless the state of Texas expands its Medicaid coverage to levels provided by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Pub. L. No. 111-148), as amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (Pub. L. No. 111-152), or a successor law.
