Amend SJR 2 on third reading as follows:

(1)  Strike the section of the resolution amending Article VIII, Texas Constitution, by adding Section 7-e to that article, as added by Floor Amendment No. 3 by Harper-Brown.

(2)  In the section of the resolution adding a temporary provision to the Texas Constitution, in Subsection (a) of the temporary provision, as amended by Floor Amendment No. 3 by Harper-Brown, strike "to dedicate certain tax revenue to the state highway fund,".

(3)  In the section of the resolution adding a temporary provision to the Texas Constitution, in Subsection (a) of the temporary provision, as amended by Floor Amendment No. 3 by Harper-Brown, strike "from certain money deposited to the state highway fund" and substitute "from other money deposited to the state highway fund".

(4)  In the section of the resolution adding a temporary provision to the Texas Constitution, strike Subsections (c) and (d) of the temporary provision, as added by Floor Amendment No. 3 by Harper-Brown, and substitute the following:

(5)  In the section of the resolution providing ballot language, as amended by Floor Amendment No. 3 by Harper-Brown, strike from the ballot language "to dedicate certain tax revenue to the state highway fund,".

(6)  In the section of the resolution providing ballot language, as amended by Floor Amendment No. 3 by Harper-Brown, strike from the ballot language "from certain money deposited to the state highway fund" and substitute "from other money deposited to the state highway fund".
