R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Bryanna Williams, a sixth-grade student at |
|
|
Kirbyville Elementary School, achieved an impressive success with |
|
|
her outstanding performance at the regional gymnastics competition |
|
|
in Fort Worth on May 18 and 19, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After winning first place in trampoline and tumbling |
|
|
and second place in double mini at the state meet in Austin, Ms. |
|
|
Williams carried great momentum into the regionals, where she |
|
|
captured first place in the trampoline and double mini and third |
|
|
place in tumbling; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Lynn and Becky |
|
|
Williams, Ms. Williams has received valuable support from Weaver |
|
|
Motors, Elder Hardwood, and her friends and family, and she will |
|
|
travel to Kansas City, Missouri, in July to vie for the national |
|
|
championship; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Bryanna Williams has distinguished herself with her |
|
|
hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent, and she may indeed |
|
|
look forward to a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Bryanna |
|
|
Williams on winning first place in the trampoline and double mini at |
|
|
the regional gymnastics competition and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Williams as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
