R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Aubree Elizabeth Bast graduated as valedictorian of |
|
the 2013 senior class of River Road High School in Amarillo, and she |
|
truly merits special recognition for her impressive achievements; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Ms. |
|
Bast demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of |
|
subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to |
|
her studies are myriad; and |
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
recognized as the highest achieving student in her class, Ms. Bast |
|
gained the opportunity to address her fellow seniors at |
|
commencement and to reflect on their shared history as well as their |
|
hopes and ambitions for the future; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents David and Kim Bast, |
|
Aubree Elizabeth Bast has earned the respect and admiration of her |
|
teachers and classmates at River Road High School, and her |
|
exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to |
|
excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this |
|
remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Aubree |
|
Elizabeth Bast, valedictorian of the River Road High School Class |
|
of 2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it |
|
further |

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Bast as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
