R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Audra Dannette Rauh graduated as salutatorian of the |
|
Class of 2013 at River Road High School in Amarillo on June 7, 2013; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, |
|
Ms. Rauh demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of |
|
subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to |
|
her studies are myriad; and |
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
recognized as one of the two highest achieving students in her |
|
class, Ms. Rauh gained the opportunity to address her fellow |
|
seniors at commencement and to reflect on their shared history as |
|
well as their hopes and ambitions for the future; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents William and Deborah |
|
Rauh, Audra Dannette Rauh has earned the respect and admiration of |
|
her teachers and classmates at River Road High School, and her |
|
exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to |
|
excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this |
|
remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Audra |
|
Dannette Rauh, salutatorian of the River Road High School Class of |
|
2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as |
|
she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Rauh as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
